As part of the Village at Grand Traverse Commons, Kirkbride Hall is able to offer events that take place within a vibrant and historic community filled with shops, eateries, and attractions. Concerts at Kirkbride
Kirkbride Hall’s cathedral-like ceiling and stained glass windows make every event feel like a grand affair. Originally built as the chapel of the Traverse City State Hospital, the hall was used to host a wide range of social events for the patients including religious services, dances, lectures, and even concerts. Today, Kirkbride Hall serves a very similar purpose and her arched ceiling still echoes music in a hauntingly beautiful way.
